Automated floor care
Find the Stain, Clean It Again
Tracked-in marks need more than a single quick pass. This guide looks at Dyson's black Spot+Scrub Ai wet-and-dry robot, which combines vacuuming, stain detection, repeated cleaning and a self-cleaning dock.
The exact item
Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum — Black
Tom's Guide Australia included this exact Amazon AU ASIN in its deals list updated 21 September 2026, reporting AU$1,489.99. Amazon currently ranks it number 22 in Robotic Vacuums and shows 200+ product views in the past week. Those signals show current interest, but it is not a category-leading bestseller and Amazon's quick view presently shows no featured offer.
We have not physically tested this product. This guide uses the identified product listing and practical fit checks, not a promise of performance or current availability.
Make it work in your space
- Clear cords, lightweight objects, tassels and pet bowls before the first mapping run. Position the dock on a hard, level surface with the clearances in Dyson's current instructions.
- Map one level and define no-go areas around steps, delicate rugs and places where the square body could become trapped. Use wet cleaning only on floor materials approved by their manufacturers.
- Empty, refill and clean the dock and robot on Dyson's current maintenance schedule. Wipe sensors and inspect brushes rather than assuming the self-cleaning system removes every maintenance task.
Before you buy
Three checks that matter
01Confirm ASIN B0GQ96QV9B, black model 218087-01 and the exact dock and accessories; similarly named Dyson robots may differ.
02Check today's featured seller, price, delivery, returns, Australian power requirements and warranty. The reported deal can end and the quick view currently shows no featured offer.
03Review current app, Wi-Fi, mapping, detergent, floor-compatibility, consumable and privacy requirements before ordering.
When to choose something else
Choose a conventional vacuum or mop if you need stair cleaning, deep manual passes or direct control, or a less expensive robot if repeated stain cleaning is not useful in your home. Furniture and room accessories shown are illustrative.
